Camp Birch Knoll is "America's Camp for Girls", with a gorgeous 400 acre site on the shores of South Twin Lake near Eagle River, Wisconsin. Camp Birch Knoll was founded in 1946 and has been family owned and operated by The Baier Family for over 40 years, with 3 generations now filling key leadership roles at camp. The facilities and programs at Birch Knoll are topnotch! With over 30 instructed activities, each camper can "custom design" their own program based upon their interest. Choose from outstanding programs in water skiing, horseback riding, tennis, gymnastics, dance, sports, art and waterfront activities. The focus of our daily program is the instructional program offered Monday through Saturday. The girls elect 10 activities for instruction (five on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and five on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). There is also an optional "General" period each day where girls can elect to go tubing, swimming, boating, play tennis, etc. Our instructional program is outstanding, with talented instructors in every area.
The girls really love our special evening and Sunday special events. Whether it is our 125 foot long water slide down the hill, Capture the Flag, Let’s Make a Deal, Movie Night, the Luau, Halloween or Fireside, they have a blast!! Most of these special programs are done as all-camp events. They bring everyone together as a group and build camaraderie and camp spirit. Our staff is warm and friendly. They have expertise in our activity areas and our counselors are terrific at bonding and "hanging out" with the campers in the cabins. Most of our counselors are former campers, so they have a great "feel" for the camp, the programs and the campers! |
